What I found as the epistle reading really knocked me out. Sometimes Paul says the strangest things but in his letter to the Romans he lays out for us the truth of discipleship and begins with this statement. “Let love be genuine.”

Clothing donations for the Harrison County Emergency Children’s Shelter will be collected on, or before, December 11th. Please bring new girls size 6 – 6x tops and bottoms as we continue to provide clothing for children through the shelter’s Adopt-A-Size Program. It has occurred to me this morning that there is some really good stuff happening at St. Peter’s By-the-Sea over the next few weeks. Most of this will be in your newsletter but I just wanted to underline and highlight a couple of things that I am especially excited about.

The Book Club will meet on Thursday, March 3, at 10 am in the Parish Hall where we will discuss Jodi Picoult’s book, Leaving Time.
